We use a secure key management system for all client access. You can provide us with a spare key which is stored in our secure facility and logged in our system. Alternatively, you can authorize a trusted neighbor or building manager to grant us access. All our staff undergo thorough background checks and follow strict security protocols when entering and leaving your property.
We recommend booking at least 7-10 days in advance for standard services to ensure availability and allow time for the initial consultation. However, we understand that travel plans can change suddenly, and we do offer emergency services with as little as 24-48 hours notice when possible. For rare plant collections or more complex care needs, additional lead time is beneficial to develop a customized care plan.
Our specialists are trained to identify and address plant health issues quickly. If we notice any signs of distress, pest infestation, or disease, we will take appropriate action based on our expertise. You'll receive an immediate notification with photos and details of the issue along with our recommended treatment. For serious issues that might require additional services or products, we'll seek your approval before proceeding. Our goal is always to resolve problems before they affect the overall health of your plant collection.
During the initial consultation, our specialists assess each plant's species, size, condition, and specific requirements. We consider factors such as soil type, pot size, light exposure in your home, and seasonal conditions. Based on this assessment, we create a customized care schedule that determines visit frequency and specific care tasks. For collections with varying needs, we may schedule different care routines for different plant groups. Currently, Steadmarka specializes exclusively in indoor houseplant care. This focus allows us to maintain our expertise and quality standards. For clients with outdoor gardens, we can recommend trusted partners who provide complementary garden maintenance services that can be coordinated with our houseplant care visits.
Depending on your selected service package, you'll receive regular digital updates that include: high-quality photos of your plants, detailed care notes documenting watering, fertilizing and any adjustments made, measurements of growth and development where relevant, and early notification of any concerns or issues. Updates are delivered via email or our secure client portal, and the frequency varies from daily to weekly based on your package and preferences.
